plastocor® epoxy cladding P2000 is used for long-term protection of new tube sheets against galvanic corrosion/erosion and for the repair of corroded tube sheets. Tube sheet claddings can be linked to inlet coatings and inner tube linings.

The key to plastocor® tube sheet cladding thick film coatings on tube sheets is a specially developed form plug system.
The plugs can have a conical (system 1) or radial (system 2) shape.
The plugs form the negative mold of the finished coating and are available in various sizes depending on the tubing involved.

Conical tube inlet and outlet openings are formed for cylindrical tubes, with or without projection. This method is used in condensers since 1958.
Radial tube inlet and outlet openings are formed for expanded tubes, with or without projection.
This method has been used in new installations since 1978.

plastocor® tube sheet cladding system offers a complete encapsulation of the tube ends into the coating when retubing titanium tubes in a Muntz metal tube sheet or other difficult material combinations.
This provides additional safety for the tightness of the rolling area.
