The plastocor® Cladding System withstands physical abuse, impact, and other stresses associated with the operation of a cooling water system. The process fashions a radially flared, high-gloss, inlet and outlet tube opening, serving to dramatically reduce flow resistance and fouling. For on-line tube cleaning systems, sponge ball wear is reduced. It has a proven track record of continued service since 1956.

Prevent and rebuild lost tube sheet material 

The plastocor® system entails an ultra-durable protective cladding of almost all metal types of tube sheets. The system completely covers the tube sheet and encapsulates the tube ends into an 100% solids epoxy cladding of 3-5mm thickness. In severe cases, it can be applied at a thickness of several cm. This polymeric shield is in addition to the thickness of material required to rebuild lost tube sheet metal achieving a near to new condition.

Strengthen tube-to-tube-sheet joints

The substantial nature of the system adds strength and integrity to the tube-to-tube-sheet joint generating a leak tight protection of the joint. Tube push-out strength enhancement of 1000 kg is routinely achieved. As a result, the risk of galvanic corrosion is drastically reduced to a minimum. In combination with plastocor® Inlet System and P400 High-Performance Coatings results in the maximum corrosion protection for condensers.
